Walking in Cornwall, especially in the spring is a beautiful time to explore the coastal path. The flora at this time of year is amazing and special.
All winter I’ve been thinking about the walks I’m going to do, to see different spring flowers on the various cliffs. As an artist, I usually think about a place that will give me a composition, but the spring increases my inspiration and I’m spoilt for choice when the flowers are blanketing the cliffs, leading to coves and the sea.
One of my favourite places that I always return to, Bedruthan steps. I highly recommend the circular walk from Bedruthan to Porthcothan. Spectacular coastal scenery and from April / May and the ground is covered in Pink Thrift. Can’t wait.
